Excellent, compares to the better harissa's found in Morocco!Feb 21, 2009 My husband is Moroccan and I have made efforts to recreate some of his favorite foods from home - as a result this harissa has become a #1 staple in the house, I don't know what i would do without it! When I first brought this home, he couldn't believe how good it was - he said it tasted as good as the ones from Morocco! He liked it so much that I gifted a few jars (it comes in very pretty, sturdy glass jars with gold metal lids, just as pictured) to his mom who has been here for 9 yrs - and she told me she had tried so many in the US and NONE came close to being as good as this one, it reminded her of what she would get back home. My husband likes it dabbed onto steak sandwiches; served along with roasted chicken; with lamb... I use it in bakoula (a spinach dish), and other assorted Moroccan veggie dishes I've learned to make. It goes with many things and is quite a versatile condiment, I highly recommend it.
